Lady Luck is with me!
I won tickets to MTV Asia World Stage and also won tickets to BMW shorties premiere gala event. Am I on a role or what? All within a span of a week! Woohoo!
Went to Johor for a classmate's wedding and had a pretty good time with friends. Roadtrips are pretty fun when you're with the right company. The only downside to the trip was that 2 out of the four people I went with had the flu. As soon as they coughed in the van, I knew my fate was sealed. 4 hours on the road on the way there, 7 hours in the hotel room with them and another 4 hours with them on the way back confined in a small space. Sure kena infected one... I got sick the day after I got back to KL. I'm now on flu DAY 3. Feeling pretty good now though... I took my antibiotics before the virus had the time to multiply in my body. I stole some from my friend's clinic stash on the way to Johor... Kiasu or what? hahaha For those of you who are still well I highly advise you to get your flu shot. The flu bug is on the loose!
As for tonight I'm attending Short and Sweet Malaysia 2009 at KLPAC. Minli is directing a short play and i wanna see how well her work fairs :P She's competing against several other people to win the top prize. Last year her script was voted one of the best. This year she decided to up her ante by actually directing one herself. From scriptwriter to director within a year. Is she amazing or what? It only cost RM 30 per ticket if you want to attend. Min's work is to be held from 12th-15th August. If you do happen to go within these few days you know who to vote for !

Experimenting with love energy for 30 days
.
I've decided to give this love energy experiment a trial. For 30 days I am going to infuse my thoughts, actions and beingness with love as best I can. Time and time again I've read that love is a powerful energy. I think this form of energy is yet to be fully understood by many. I'm going to document my journey and see whether good things will start pouring its way into my life. Many a times I've embarked on this challenge but often find myself drifting away from doing it after a few days. I'll do my best to commit myself to this for the next 30 days.
I'm helping one of my clients to get a job at Shell at the moment. I was having drinks with Loren and his family the yesterday and his wife Tita said that she always wanted a job with an oil company. She just moved here and she doesn't have a job yet. She says she wants to keep herself busy at work rather than staying at home all the time as a full time housewife while her husband Loren is at school teaching. I'm going to do my best to get her the job. My friend Pamelyn is working for Shell in the PR department and I think she can be of help to Tita. I gave her a call earlier and she said she'd be happy to help. We just need to pass her Tita's CV. I'll infuse this situation with love and see whether it's outcome would be a positive one. I guess this is my first random act of kindness in my 30 day challenge.

Yearning for that inner voice within

I'm tired of making decisions. I just wish I had an inner voice that would guide me on what to do and what actions I should take. It really disturbs me when I make a wrong decision, a wrong choice. Some people have the luxury of having lucid dreams to guide them or that funny feeling in their stomache to make them choose a certain path. Me I don't feel a thing.. My feelings are almost non existent until a disaster / bad outcome occurs. I just wish I had a constant angel beside me whom I can consult before making any sort of decision and perhaps tap me on the shoulder when good opportunities come my way. How do I develop this intuition sort of thingy?

Passion fused with soccer balls...
Just came across this video on youtube. These guys are good. They probably spend whatever spare time they have with a ball. 200, 000 hours of practice at least !
Maybe we should all spend our time on something we love rather than spending it in front of a TV. I read somewhere that by the time we reach 80 we would probably have spent 15 years of our lives in front of a tube. Its hard la for me. There's a new 50 inch plasma at my house...

Is it me or is this music working its wonders on me?
I've listened to this track for tens of times today and everytime I hear it I feel as if my insides are cleansed somehow.. My mind , my heart and my soul feels as if they're returning to its original state - the way it should be. I get so distracted sometimes with so many things happening around me and I lose touch of my centre. This music sure does help me find my core, my true inner self. I hope it affects you as much as it did for me.

A little microchip that I misplaced...

My memory card of all my photos for work and all my audio recordings of my precious training sessions is missing. I can't seem to find it anywhere. What do I do now? Should I make a prayer to God for it's safe return? I've got my camera, my watch, wallet, hand phones, briefcase, gps, car keys, my prized pen and precious files to take care of for goodness sakes. Give me a break.
Funny thinking back, I was at the office contemplating whether or not I should put it back into the camera. I was like nah.. I'll just put it into my pocket first and when I get back home I'm going to upload them all into my pc. That was the last I saw of it. Went to the gym forgot about it and when I got home it wasn't in my pocket. My split second decision of procrastinating a simple act of returning the memory card into the camera has caused me all this distress... unbelievable...

Biggest mangoes I've seen in my life!

Just had the priviledge of eating these jumbo mangoes the other day. Apparantly they cost RM 13 per pop. Taste just like the regular mangoes only bigger, heavier and sweeter. Seriously, I've never come across a mango this BIG EVER! They're called mango udangs. I don't understand why the decided on the name udang instead of GAJAH...
